Z post is the simplest structure in the road security guardrail and the most commonly used post in the international market. It is generally made of Q235B strip steel or higher grade strip steel according to the requirements of customers through punching machine and then through hydraulic bending machine forming.

After forming, the Z post is in the shape of Z. One end of it is connected to the Z spacer and the guardrail by bolts, and the other end is buried in the earth by a pile driver or fastened on the cement road surface by flannel, thus playing a supporting role for the whole guardrail and preventing vehicles or pedestrians from rushing out and causing secondary damage due to traffic accidents.

The surface of Z post is generally treated by hot-dip galvanized process. This surface treatment method can effectively prevent corrosion, withstand high temperature and have a long life. Meanwhile, its appearance is simple and easy to assemble and replace accessories.
